Munchkins Slot Review
Munchkins appears to be centred around crazy, big-toothed creatures who appear to enjoy eating things. All the icons on the reels in this one have had corners bitten out of them, including homework books, keyrings, wallets, and the standard A, J, K, 10 and Q symbols. The game seems to take place at night time considering there’s the familiar sound of crickets playing through the speakers, and although its designed in a playable way, this product features fairly standard graphics.
When it comes to game play, Munchkins features five reels and three rows. In addition, players will have a total of 15 pay lines to activate, although less can be used if you prefer. Furthermore, the coin value starts off from £0.01 and increases up to £1 per line, while the amount of coins utilised can be changed between one and 10. This provides players with a possibility of placing a maximum overall wager of £150 per spin.
The symbol which is shaped like an Oreo cookie acts as the scatter symbol in this game. You’ll be rewarded with 20 freespins of the reels if you manage to spin three, four or five of these in any position. All wins during the freespins round are doubled, and freespins can be re-triggered as well.
The wild icon is represented by a blue capsule, which bursts open to reveal the aforementioned toothy creatures inside when standing in for other symbols and providing a win. The only icon it won’t stand in for is the scatter.
There’s also a game feature included in the game, as in many other Microgaming products, which requires you to guess the playing card colour to try and double your winnings.
There are several products from this developer which run in the same vein, just with different themes, so Munchkins is by far not their most creative output. However, it will provide a decent amount of fun game play.
