Monster Mania Slot Review
Monster Mania may be one of Microgaming’s older offerings, but it still packs quite a punch. It manages to provide fun and entertainment through its sheer provision of quirkiness. Loading this one up will present you with several different icons. These start with various selections of fruits. The first of these is a bunch of bananas while the second is a bunch of grapes. Watermelon slices come next, following by half an orange and an apple with a bite taken out of it. Joining them are five different medium paying monster icons. Each of these has an alternate design to the next and incorporate many colours.
You will play the game on a total of five reels and three rows. Therefore, it’s a standard enough layout. There’s also a total of nine different pay lines in the game, but you can customise these. Simply use the ‘Select Lines’ button to do so. Furthermore, you can adjust the overall wager that you place per spin as well. The minimum bet is set at £2.25 across all nine lines. However, you can increase this with the plus button to a maximum of £18 per round.
This game might not have an over abundance of special features, but it still manages to offer up a couple. They begin with its own wild icon. This is the image of the monster with the big mouth. As a wild, this substitutes for all other symbols on the reels, helping to form a win. The only exception to this rule is the game’s scatter icon.
And speaking about the scatter, this is the ‘Scatter Brain’ monster. These will pay out wherever they show up on the reels and are added to pay line wins. Scatters multiply your total wager by a specific amount. Therefore, if you spin five of them into view, you’ll receive a multiplier of times 100.
Monster Mania is certainly an intriguing game and features many bright colours. It’s an older Microgaming offering, but we still love playing it. It definitely appeals to that fun, quirky side of us.
