Special Features
The game’s namesake symbol is also its Wild. The Black Diamond Wild can replace any of the regular symbols to help create winning combinations. However, it can of course not substitute for the Bonus and Scatter symbols in the game.
As for the Scatter symbol, it comes in the shape of a diamond apple and offers you 10 freespins. Keep a good eye out for it, as it only appears on reels 1 and 5. You will be looking to land both Scatters at the same time in order to activate the freespins feature. What’s more, you can retrigger the bonus round and gain an extra 10 freespins for a total of 20. For this you will need to again land 2 Scatter symbols on reels 1 and 5.
Black Diamond also features a Bonus symbol, which is responsible for yet another bonus game. It comes in the form of a stack of gold bars and only appears on the middle reels 2, 3 and 4. Landing all three on an active payline will take you to a new screen with a Pick Me game. It will be up to you to pick a gemstone from those before you and reveal your prize. Summary
Black Diamond does make a good impression with the fact that it offers two different special features. However, the graphics and regularity, at which you can trigger those features, doesn’t really give one much to work with. All in all, this is an average, low to medium variance slot game with not a whole bunch of excitement to offer.
