Boom Brothers Slot Review

The Boom Brothers are somewhere deep underground on the hunt for diamonds, gemstones and any other form of gold-bringing wonders. As the opening video package tells, they manage to find some lodged in a huge rock, but the only issue is being able to liberate them from it. So, being named as they are, it’s only natural that they head for the TNT to blast the stone apart. You’re then led to the game itself, which is very nicely designed, providing various icons such as lanterns, helmets with torches on them, mining tools and various other imagery relative to the theme of the game. The sound of an elevator taking you to the darkened depths can be heard every time you spin the reels, presenting a game with atmosphere and intrigue.

There are five reels and three rows included in the game’s interface, while Netent have also added 20 separate pay lines alongside. Players can customise the lines if there’s a preference for betting on less, and the coin value is also changeable from £0.01 to £1. In addition, the bet level is alterable between one and five, offering all players the chance to place a maximum overall wager of £100 per spin.

Special Features

The wild symbol features a lit bomb, and when this appears on the reels, it will act as a stand in for all others, exploding if it is added into a combination. The only exceptions it won’t stand in for are the freespin and bonus icons.

Spinning three freespin icons on a pay line during the main game will activate the freespins round. Each of the icons will spin and reveal a number of freespins, which are then added together and give you your total amount awarded between eight and 50.

If you spin three train track symbols on an active pay line on reels one, two and three, you’ll begin the rail track feature. The symbols line up to form a train track, and the last two reels re-spin. The aim is to complete the track, enabling the Boom brothers to safely cross.

There’s also a bonus game which sees each of the three brothers try to be the first one to pick up a coloured diamond for points.

Summary

This Netent game is exceptionally fun and a very creative product. Stellar graphics, a multitude of added extras and perfect added music make for a great mix.
