Hidden Valley, a game presented by Quickspin, provides a very entertaining and compelling product to play. It takes you on a journey through the supposed Hidden Valley, with reels that include symbols of an eagle and a yak, as well as three explorers who are making the first footsteps within the Hidden Valley. A great theme, with great music to accompany gameplay, as well as great visuals.
The game itself is set out on a five reel interface, with rows that span 3 x 4 x 4 x 4 x 3. There’s a total of 40 paylines included in the game, which aren’t customisable. The coin value, however, is changeable, allowing you to switch such between the minimum of £0.01 and the maximum of £1.00 per line. Also, along the right hand side of the reels is a wild multiplier bet changer, which allows you to select the range of the multiplier on offer from just between times one – times two, up to a maximum of times four – times 10. This also increases your wager depending on the level set, providing a maximum overall wager option of £120 per spin.
Special Features
The Multiplier Wild symbol acts as a standard wild, substituting for all other symbols on the reels to create a winning combination, except Bonus Scatter icons. At the beginning of every spin, the Multiplier Wild Meter along the top of the reels will randomly choose a multiplier amount, and should the wilds be included in a winning combination, the winnings will be multiplied by that amount.
The bonus scatter symbol is represented by a circular icon with the word, ‘BONUS’ scrawled across it. Three of these appearing anywhere on the reels pays a multiplier of times two and triggers the freespins round. The number of freespins and possible extra wilds on the reels will be determined in the Bonus Wheel on the gate to the valley. Extra wilds can be awarded during freespins, which will turn the explorer icons into wild symbols. These act as standard wilds, standing in for all other symbols, except Multiplier Wild symbols and bonus scatters.
