Following on from the first game in this series, Jack Hammer 2 takes you on another crime fighting adventure with the comic book detective. In terms of the layout and design of this one, it does not differ so much from the original game, presenting you with 15 different reels, as each icon moves independently of all the others. The design of the game is presented in comic book fashion, of course, giving players an almost pop art-like feel to it. With this being the case, you’ll get various different characters and scenarios from the story making up the game’s icons.
As noted, there are 15 reels included in the product, although initially it does seem like a five reel and three row interface. The first and most obvious thing about this game is the inclusion of its ‘Sticky Win’ feature. This comes in to play after every winning combination that is formed. This sees the reels with winning symbols held in position, and all other reels will re-spin for a chance of bigger wins. This continues happening until no further wins are formed.
In the main game, there’s also a wild symbol included, and this will substitute for all other icons on the reels, except for the freespin symbol, in order to form a winning combination. During the game’s freespin round, you’re able to spin ‘Random Wild’ symbols into view, and these will stand in for all other symbols except the regular wild and freespin icons as well.
As far as freespins are concerned, you’ll need to spin five or more freespin symbols into view in order to activate the round, with five giving you 10 freespins, six presenting you with 13 freespins, seven offering up 16 freespins, and eight or more giving you 20 freespins in total.
