Jungle Jim is the predecessor of the now popular slot Jungle Jim El Dorado by Microgaming. It offers a lot less in terms of graphics and visuals, but it still has plenty to bring to the table. The realistic animal sounds that are present throughout the whole game really make you feel like you’re in the jungle.
The game offers 5 reels and 3 rows of funky, cartoon symbols. There are snakes, man-eating plants, piranhas, alligators and even deadly spiders. There are a total of 15 paylines, which you can adjust as you please. The possible stake amounts per spin range from £0.01 up to £75. The RTP it offers is a medium 96%, but there is an interesting bonus feature to make that number seem more attractive.
Special Features
Look out for the Wild symbols in this game, as it is the highest paying symbol on the reels. It’s in the form of a jungle treehouse and a set of palm trees against the sunset. It can appear anywhere on the reels and will replace any missing symbols, in order to form a winning sequence. However, the only symbol immune to it is, of course, the Scatter.
The Scatter symbol in Jungle Jim is the round shield with a bunch of spears in it. You won’t miss it, because it has the word ‘Scatter’ across half of it. It, too, can land anywhere on the reels. If you land at least three of them at a time, they can grant you up to x75 total bet.
As for the special feature, it provides players with freespins. If you trigger it, you can get up to 10 freespins. Just look out for the alligator Bonus symbol, which can appear on reel 3, 4 and 5. Landing three or more will activate the feature, so keep your eyes open. Once you do, a new screen will present you with five alligators to choose from. That will determine the number of freespins you get, after which you will have to go through the same procedure to find out your multiplier for the bonus feature. You can get up to 5x.
Unfortunately, however, you cannot retrigger the freespins feature. On the brighter side, though, those multipliers can really make the difference and grant you some nice wins.

Jungle Jim is a bright and colorful game, which does offer a decent RTP and a somewhat exciting gambling experience. The bonus feature isn’t as entertaining as one would expect from a game by this provider, but it does promise some decent winning opportunities.
