Zeus Slot Review
Zeus, is of course, a game based on the Greek God of the same name. So, it’s very fitting that the reels are filled with symbols featuring imagery relating to such, i.e. laurel wreaths, harps, Pegasus, a helmet, silver coins, and ancient Greek urns. It’s fairly unfortunate that the game doesn’t feature a dedicated soundtrack, but instead makes use of the often incorporated WMS standard music.
The layout included in Zeus features a five reel, three row interface, and a total of 30 separate paylines, all of which can be customised to suit your own preferences. The coin value in the game can be altered between £0.01 and £5.00 per payline. This will therefore allow all players to place a maximum overall wager of £150 per spin.
The Greek temple symbol acts as this game’s wild symbol, and this will stand in for any other symbol on the reels to create a winning combination, except the feature icon.
As for the feature icon, this is represented by Zeus’ hand holding a bolt of lightning. This symbol is a scatter icon, and three or more of these will trigger the freespins feature. Should you spin three anywhere on the reels, you’ll be awarded 10 freespins, four scattered feature symbols provide 25 freespins, and five scatter symbols offer up 100 freespins of the reels. During freespins, three or more scatters appearing will award you with additional freespins.
Having the theme of Zeus, the sky and thunder god, as the basis for this game, could have provided an altogether amazing game, although WMS seems to have fallen a little short with the lack of relevant soundtrack or bonus game. Freespins are always nice, of course, but a lot more could have been done with this product to inflate it beyond its standard level.
