Everyone knows that the Egyptian theme has been very much overworked in the online slots sector, and Cleopatra from IGT makes no exception to this rule, incorporating scarab beetles, the eye of Horus, hieroglyphics and other relevant icons into its reels. Spinning the reels will present you with what could be considered an authentic piece of Egyptian music, so working with the selected theme is not something that bypasses the developer altogether.
The game itself has five reels and three rows, and offers up 20 separate customisable paylines alongside. The bet per line can be changed between its minimum of £0.01, up to its maximum of £30.00, thereby allowing all players to place a maximum overall wager of £600 per spin. Special Features
The icon of Cleopatra’s eyes with the game logo underneath them acts as the wild symbol in this one. This substitutes for all other symbols, except that of the Pharaoh. Should one or more wild help to create a win, the pay out for it is doubled.
The Pharaoh icon acts as the scatter icon, and two or more of these appearing on the reels will pay out a bet multiplier that increases in value with the more symbols appearing. Should you spin three or more, you’ll trigger 15 freespins of the reels in the ‘Cleopatra Bonus’. During this round, all pays are tripled, unless you should spin five wild icons.
Summary
It’s hard to judge a game that works with this theme considering there are so many of them out there, and also considering that there are quite a few with stronger graphics and game play than this IGT offering. However, if you enjoy a simple slot game with regular wild and scatter offerings, Cleopatra is no doubt an ideal product for you.
