Ooh Aah Dracula Slot Review
Ooh Aah Dracula is a comedic take on the famous vampire count by game developer Barcrest. The reels are apparently set in his stone castle and picture a variety of vampire-themed, humorous symbols. The lower value playing card symbols are present on the reels, with melting candles, blood, vampire bats and other gruesome details on them. The reels also showcase a cartoonish werewolf and full-busted female vampire, as well as a comic representation of Dracula himself. His castle also has its own icon on the reels. Last but not least, an icon with the game’s title is the highest paying symbol, offering payouts of up to 5,000 times your stake.
The layout is a customary 5 reels and 3 rows, with a total of 10 paylines. Bet amounts can range from 10p and up to the maximum of £30 per spin. What’s more, the theoretical RTP during regular gameplay is 96%, however it can reach up to a fantastic 99% in Hi Roller mode.
Look out for the Wild symbol here, as it can replace any of the regular symbols to contribute to winning combinations. The only symbol it cannot replace is the game’s Scatter, though. The Scatter depicts a heart, pierced with a wooden stake. And as we well know, that’s the only way to kill a vampire.
The Heart Scatter can appear in any position on the reels, but it’s most valuable if you can land 3 or more of it at a time. 3 or 4 Scatters will retrigger the Heart Attack Bonus feature, where you will receive a respin. But note that the respin will only occur for those reels that don’t have a Scatter on them. The feature aims to give you a chance of gaining more Scatters. After this, you will move on to the freespins feature. Round 1 will grant you 15 freespins with 1 Active Wild symbol. If you had 4 Scatters, at the end of the Round 1 you will have the option of gambling your wins in Round 2. Round 2 will grant you two symbols that will turn into Wilds and 10 freespins.
5 Heart Scatters will give you the opportunity to move on to Round 3. There you will be gambling your winnings from Round 2. You will have 5 freespins and 3 symbols that will turn into Wilds.
And of course, this wouldn’t be a Barcrest game if there weren’t a Hi Roller feature. It represents a separate game at a higher stake. The Hi Roller feature will offer you the Graveyard bonus feature, when you’re finished with the freespins. The Graveyard features a Pick Me game, where you will need to choose from several graves for a cash prize.
Ooh Aah Dracula is good in the sense that it offers a very flexible betting range. In addition, there are also some pretty decent winning possibilities here, with a complex bonus feature and the Hi Roller option. The 99% RTP in big bet mode is nothing short of impressive and we would highly recommend you to try out this slot machine from that fact alone.
