Pandora’s Box Slot Review
Set in one of the glorious cities of ancient Greece, Pandora’s Box tells its players all about the tale of the box which holds all the evils of the world, and it’s these evils which are set free by Pandora herself. Of course, the game itself isn’t played in quite such a dramatic fashion, but you get the idea. Because it’s set in Greece, the reels have all be imbued with that Mediterranean flavour, so you’ll find that the icons are all relative to such. With this being the case, you’ll get to spin through symbols of fresh grapes hanging from the vine, as well as one of some olives on a tree. There’s also icons of a Greek warrior’s helmet, a golden shield, a harp, and an ornately designed urn, and these are all joined by the regular A, J, K, Q and 10 icons.
As far as the layout of the game itself is concerned, this is played on a total of five reels and three rows. You’ll also see that the developer, Netent, has included a total of 20 separate pay lines into it as well, which can be customised to suit your own preferences. Furthermore, you’re also able to change around the amount of the wager you place per spin, and this is done by altering the coin value between £0.01 and £1 per line, and the bet level between one and four. Therefore, a maximum overall wager of £80 per spin can be played.
The first, and quite possibly the main speciality of Pandora’s Box is its wild icons. There are two of these, and the first one is a standard wild, which is represented by the god of thunder. This will stand in for any other icon on the reels in order to form a win, with the exception to this being the scatter icons. Any win including this symbol in it will pay out a double win. In addition to this, there’s also the golden wild, and this can only show up on the third reel. This works in the same way as the standard one, but if it makes up a win, it will quadruple the pay out.
Joining these two special symbols is the scatter icon, which is represented by Pandora herself, opening up the fateful box. This pays out your total bet times by a multiplier, and for five of these showing up in any location, you will receive a multiplier of times 500. Three or more of them in view will trigger the freespins round, and you’ll be given 10 freespins for three scatters. A total of 20 freespins are given for four scatters, and 30 freespins are provided for five. All wins formed during this round are tripled.
We think you’ll enjoy playing through the special features of Pandora’s Box.
